Our Staff Teams & Their Development

 
At Millennium Care Services we work hard to ensure that our staff team’s are able to grow and develop their skills through a structured training programme and supervision and appraisal system.

As holders of the Employment Services ‘Positive about Disabled People Award’, Millennium Care Services provides a wide range of training activity, which is made available to our staff. This is supported by having our own training department and suite which engenders a positive learning culture within our organisation and covers e-learning, class room activity, coaching and mentoring .

Our staff training programme meets all National Occupational Standards and has been specifically developed to link to the knowledge requirements for Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) Diplomas in Health and Social Care for the Generic and Learning Disability Pathways at levels 2 & 3. Our staff induction meets and exceeds the Revised Common Induction Standards (2010) and we proactively use CIS online assessments to evidence how our staff can retain and apply learnt knowledge. All our training links to CQC’s essential standards of quality and safety outcomes.

Your support worker is an excellent example, she takes pride in her role and gives the gentlemen she supports the opportunity to take part in our meetings at an appropriate level.
